Mastering the Art of Goalkeeping

At DC Way, we see goalkeeping as an exciting journey that demands courage, skill, and passion. Our weekly sessions are designed to guide young goalkeepers through every aspect of the game, ensuring they develop the key skills needed to excel. Here’s what they can expect:

  1. Warm-up routine, stretching, ball familiarity, and ready position

  2. Ways of catching, footwork, and positioning

  3. Shot stopping, diving, and parrying

  4. Distribution and 1v1 situations

  5. Penalty kicks and secrets of saving

  6. Decision making and group plays

  7. Recap, competitions, and bigger-sized games

Each 60-minute session offers a well-rounded experience. We kick off with a club-wide warm-up, followed by group demonstrations, hands-on practice, and personalized feedback from our certified goalkeeping coaches.

Our weekly clinics focus on improving the unique physical and cognitive skills required of goalkeepers. From diving saves to controlling the penalty area, we ensure every session is packed with fun, engaging drills that will have young goalkeepers learning, laughing, and leading their team from the back!
